Sainsbury’s to host information day following store proposal submission

An information day is being held in Malmesbury Town Hall next week to showcase Sainsbury’s submitted proposals.

The event, which follows months of thorough consultation, will enable everyone in Malmesbury and the surrounding villages to view the final submitted proposal and learn how the plans have developed in response to community feedback.

Ben Littman, Regional Development Executive said: “Over the last six months we have been consulting widely on our proposal to bring a foodstore to Malmesbury.

“We have made a number of key changes to the application since we last met residents in November. This information day will enable people to view the final plans and we hope people can make the time to come along and discuss them with the team.

“I believe we have a really balanced scheme that reflects the feedback we have received and will provide residents with an appropriately sized foodstore suitable for a full weekly shop.”

Where: Wesleyan Hall, Malmesbury Town Hall.
When: 28 January 2012, between 9.30am – 4pm.
